The potty training (and bribing) continues! Today's prize included cheese and crackers from Mama's work. Everytime Mama comes home, Lorelai asks if there is a new prize to add to her box.

"Daddy that was a great call I need peanut butter crackers."

Text message from Daddy to Mama at work: "We're fly spaceships.   I asked her what she wanted to say to mommy and all she said was spaceship"

Lorelai has the gift of gab. She talked Mama into "sharing" a snack tonight. Mama had four fishies and Lorelai had a whole bowl. Clever, little girl. Clever!

We had dinner at Gigi's house today. Lorelai spent a lot of time playing with Gigi's glasses and nail polish.

Today marks the end of the Christmas season for Lorelai. She ate her weight and candy and cookies.

Lorelai's bedtime routine includes a little brother hiding under the covers while she brushes her teeth and tucking her stuffed animals in next to her pillow.

Lorelai worn her big girl underwear tonight when mama got home from work. She pooped and peed in the potty and received a blue lollipop reward!

Lorelai had a special Gigi date today. Gigi called her in the morning and asked if she wanted to go out to lunch and then back to her house to bake cupcakes for aunt D. The cupcakes were strawberry with chocolate icing. Lorelai approved.

Lorelai was asking if we could go visit Nana and Pop pop tonight so Nana asked us over for dinner. Lorelai has a good time getting her grandparent's attention to herself. She follows Pop pop all over the house as often as she can find him. Nana says Pop pop loves is and misses it from when his girls were little.

Potty training continues. Today, Lorelai chose chocolate dippers for her prize for clean underwear. She gets to pick a prize twice a day if she hasn't had an accident up unto that point. She is very serious about her prizes.

Lorelai wanted to share her u-brella with Lex. Without prompting, she is often looking for ways that she can share with her brother.

Continuing on her brilliant streak, Lorelai and daddy were having a conversation today. Lorelai told daddy "he's (Lex) from the doctor's office." She couldn't be more correct.

Lorelai had a surprise lunch date with Gigi today. They went to McDonalds and played games.

Lex had a miserable day today. He spent the whole day eating crying or sleeping. There were a few happy spots, all when his big sister was paying attention to him. He loves to smile for her. And she says that he talks to her. To make him happy, Lorelai told him a silly joke- "Baby farted in his baby butt poop!"

Poop is hilarious.

We got together to celebrate Pop pop's birthday tonight. Lorelai was excited to see almost everyone's favorite colors represented in icing balloons on the cakes. She requested a blue one for herself, of course.

Bedtime is sometimes a family event. Lorelai insists that there be some amount of hiding. Today, daddy and Lex his while mama and Lorelai brushed teeth.

Mama: Lorelai, who is stonger? Batman or Superman?
Lorelai: Superman is stronger.
Mama: Who is taller? Batman or Superman?
Lorelai: Um... Batman!

Lorelai and Mama were in the backyard to play with the snow. Lorelai come across the downspout attached to the house and asked what it was. "Oh, that's a downspout so when it rains, the water comes off of the roof." "Like with the itsy bitsy spider?"

She's brilliant!

First snow of 2015. Lorelai insisted we go out in it as a family. She wanted Lex there to see her build an Olaf.

Mama and Daddy bought Lorelai monster slippers while on the shopping trip with Grand Boop. Lorelai is a big fan of keeping her feet warm and enjoys the playfulness of monsters on her feet that could attack people at any moment. Plus, they are blue. You can't go wrong with something that is blue.

Mama came home from work to find Lorelai relaxing in her toy room all alone with a cup of milk and her iPad. She is a little person.

Lorelai and Lex spent the day laying on Uncle Frank and Aunt Mo while mama and daddy were in Lancaster with Grand Boop. Lorelai doesn't feel very good.
