Happy Thanksgiving!

We had dinner with our family at Aunt Gina's tonight. Lorelai was overjoyed to find Mom-mom-mom Gallagher's doll house that her daddy made to play with. It was something else seeing Lorelai play with a family heirloom with so much love and memory attached to it.

Our favorite toy right now are "guys". Princesses and Super Heros play together in very conplex stories that invole a lot of bathroom breaks.

They are all using the laptop together. Because they are friends and friends share.

Lorelai wanted to share Mama's lap with Lex tonight. There was just enough space for both of them.

Lorelai takes excellent care of her dollies. She had a tea party today with her baby doll with cookies and a wide variety of snacks.

Mama and Daddy went to a wedding today so Lorelai got to have one of her favorite things- Sleepover at Gigi's!!

Lorelai does an amazing job of memorizing, improving, and interpreting pictures to read stories to her family. The end result is usually pretty close to the actual book.

Lorelai put all of her guys in a line today to play with her. They wanted to watch her dance and Lex wobble.

Lorelai needs time at the end of the night to unwind with her book or she has a hard time staying asleep. And while she loves her book, she doesn't always love Mama sneaking pictures of her.

Lorelai is a big girl that sleeps in a big girl bed. She doesn't want a night light but does want her sound machine on, please. Don't forget to close the door!

Lorelai got to play with her friends Sonja and Jensen today!! Even though the girls have not seen each other in several weeks, they got together like old friends like there was no time lost.

On days where we visit Nana and Pop pop without our cousins, Lorelai takes over Pop pop's whole world. She follows him around the house asking him questions and trying to drag him into playing with her. He loves every bossy second of it.

Lorelai still plays with her Girls every time she is over Gigi's house and does her best to rope as many people into playing with her. Erin is one of her preferred playmates.

Lorelai declared herself Elsa. She is using her snow magic to freeze us. It takes alot of intensity to freeze someone.

Pants? Why would anyone want to wear pants in November? Lorelai certainly doesn't want to and uses every opportunity she can think of to remove them and leave them off all day.

Lorelai made a sticker art for Nana. She asked all day if we could go see Nana so she could give her the present. Lorelai was very proud of her project.

Completely out to the blue today, Lorelai stood up from playing with her guys to tell Daddy that she loves him. She said that she loves him very much and Lex and Mommy. She loves our family.
She has said she loves everyone before but that was while being asked about family or love... This was totally on her own.
It was amazing and made Mama tear up a little.

Some days are spent just hanging out at the house together. Lorelai is anxious for Lex to be old enough to play with her. She says she can't wait.

Let the winter runny nose start!

Lorelai woke up this morning earlier than usual because she wasn't feeling well. "Dad, help! I leaked on the blankets! I leaked on the blankets. Need new pajamas!" Lorelai told us that it was scary.
After Daddy helped her to the bathroom and cleaned her up, we had a cuddle in Mama and Daddy's bed with the whole family. Lorelai said that made her feel much better.

Lorelai loves to cuddle Lex whenever possible. She is a very proud big sister.

Daddy went out to a Halloween party so Mama but Lex and Lorelai to bed by herself tonight. We brushed teeth, washed faces, read If You Give A Pig A Pancake, sang songs, gave kisses, and went to bed. Lorelai especially loved having Lex in bed with her for the bedtime routine. Usually Lex and Mama sit at the end of the bed and Daddy snuggles next to Lorelai.
