Lorelai has developed this terrible habit of stealling Mama and Daddy's cell phones and taking a million pictures in a row. We have images of fingers, feet, hands, and ceilings. Many, many photos.

Lorelai has recently decided that she does not want to be photographed so often. Some days it is a struggle to sneak one in that isn't a blur of her running past. Here is a quiet moment where Lorelai is spending some time cuddled in next to her Daddy, drawing with her twistable crayons. Twistable crayons are the drawing instrument of choice in our home.

Lorelai asked to share a biscotti with Mama tonight after dinner. Who could say no to that charming face? It turns out, she wasn't interested in the cookie part in the least-- she spent her time scraping the chocolate layer off the top. At least it didn't melt all over her hands.

Lorelai wanted to read a book to her baby brother. Since baby brother isn't here yet, her doll was an acceptable stand in. Lorelai read to her Bunnies are for Kissing, a favorite in our house since we have some sweet fluffy bunnies living with us too. Lorelai loves Beauregard bunny, even if she claims that he sometimes scares her.

Lorelai wanted to go over and visit Pop-popwhile he is healing after surgery today. She has been drawing him pictures and 'diagnosis' in her notebooks and thought he should have a few of them. While we were there, she successfully made Pop-pop smile as well as stole majority of his soup crackers. She's a little scamp.

"Mama. We watch Frozen now?" Lorelai and Mama took two hours cleaning the family room and her special prize was (yet another) screening of Frozen. We LOVE Frozen.

Lorelai was all too excited to come running out of the kitchen when Mama came home from work to show off her ninja Spiderman with Daddy. They are a ninja team!

Bedtime routine:
1. Hide from Mama since it takes her longer to get up the stairs
2. Brush teeth
3. Wash hands and face
4. Run down the hall
5. Rock with Mama and sing songs (ABCs, Twinkle Twinkle, Soft Kitty, More We Get Together, Skinamarinky-dinky-dink)
6. Jump so high with a cape on
7. Kisses
8. Lay down with blankets

Lorelai is getting more interested in playing dress up. She asked Daddy to put on her mask so she could be a kitty.

Sometimes Lorelai insists that Daddy lay down on the floor with her, comfy cozy, and either pretend to sleep or watch movies. They make a good team.

Lorelai *needed* to see cousins today. Usually on Sundays, we would go to Nana's house but Pop-pop is still trying to feel better so we took a trip to Aunt Col's so we could hug Lucas and Jacob... and apparently hide in their laundry basket also.

Time for your check up! Lorelai loves to diagnosis just like Doc McStuffins. She loves to help everyone feel better.

HAIRBOWS!! Lorelai insisted on wearing the maximum amount today. She still has not learned to stop playing with them, causing the head bands and bows to fall off her head but you do have to love her enthusiasm!

Lorelai calls this a "snowman hat". We started using a new bubble bath this week with amazingly frothy results. Lorelai approves of the Hello Kitty brand bubbles.

Lorelai plays pretend with her guys. She makes up whole stories about where they are going and why they are going there. It looks like Batman is taking that car full of blondes (and Elmo) on a joy ride.

Pop-pop has surgery today so we Chris was over today after school. Guess what they wanted to watch after playing with guys and making a general mess of the family room? You guessed it-- Frozen!

Lorelai needed to see Chris today so we met up at a fun wooden park nearby. Chris showed Lorelai how to climb all over the place and run thru the sprinklers. Lorelai wasn't such a fan of the sprinklers... but afterwards we went and had ice cream. It was a wonderful day in Lorelai's book.

Lorelai went to Uncle Spike's house tonight for dinner and games in they yard. She loved the outdoor games and took it upon herself to instruct everyone on what they should be doing at all times.

Lorelai was cooking with her play kitchen after a tea party and asked Daddy to put on her apron! It's the first time she has wanted it on having gotten it at Christmas. She was happy to wear it but very quickly not happy that Daddy was making her have her picture taken.

Lorelai likes to slide down her Daddy's legs. She is getting a little too big for it now, she barely moves before she is sitting on the floor. Just another hassle of becoming a big girl.

Sometimes Lorelai has us spread out her purple blanket on the floor for an enthusiastic round of "jumping" which involves leaping, giggling, jumping, and often singing. Today is also included flying over the blanket and a few other elaborate moves.

Daddy and Mama went to go see how baby brother is growing today so Lorelai went to spend the afternoon with cousins! Lorelai had a wonderful time with Lucas and Jacob. She was sad to leave and come home for dinner.

Lorelai is quite the charmer. She was at the grocery store with Daddy and one of the clerks gave her a candy stick. As they were walking out the door, Lorelai turned to Daddy and said "this is a very good day!"

Sunday dinner at Pop pop and Nana's brought about relaxing outside and S'mores for dessert... or if you ask Lorelai, marshmellow sandwiches.

She had a great time roasting marshmellows with her cousins and could hardly wait to get the treat off the stick.

We went to the Ridley fireworks show tonight with Col, Ron, Lucas, and Jacob. Lorelai was very excited to spend some time with her cousins in the dark with their glowsticks. Jacob wasn't a fan of the loud banging. Lorelai kept asking if he was ok during the show. She is such a sweet girl. Lorelai is officially a fan of firework shows.

We went to Skullion field tonight to see some fireworks for the 4th. It was Lorelai's first show and we weren't sure what she would think about the loud banging. She was nervous at first but settled into being really excited about the pretty colors in the air. Where we were sitting, we were able to see Clifton's professional show, a semi-professional show on the field we were sitting on, and another in the distance. Great location. Lorelai was excited to be outside after dark with her flashing light stick.

Hello? Uncle Spike? Lorelai was determined to talk to Spike today on her Hello Kitty cell phone while watching Peppa Pig on her iPad. Peppa is one of her new favorite shows to watch. She told Spike about what was going on in the show, what she had done so far that day, and a few other random thoughts.

Lorelai is starting to warm to the idea of wearing hairbows (like Lambie). Mama bought a few online. Lorelai is a fan of the Minnie Mouse bow and the Tinkerbell bow.

SANDWICHES!! Lorelai has been playing with Frozen characters every day since Aunt Cait gave her them. Throughout the day, they talk alot about sandwiches (... that's what I was going to say!)!
