Lorelai was overjoyed to come to the hospital. When she arrived, Lex was with the doctor. As the nurse brought in the baby, Lorelai immediately declared that was her brother and she loved him. Lorelai would then only let people that we identified as doctors touch her baby brother and was very anxious to have him only in her arms.
When it was time for Lorelai to go home for the night, leaving Mama and baby brother, there was tears and pleas to stay or take everyone home now. She even tried to push the baby bassinet out of the room with her as Daddy was packing up. We promised the whole family would be going home tomorrow and that eventually was fine with Lorelai.
